In 1843 Owen Evans of Tyn y Coed was a witness at the marriage of his brother John to Mary Williams.

Named as a beneficiary in the Will of his aunt Lowry Owen of Fronfair in the Parish of Llanfair-juxta-Harlech in the County of Merioneth, spinster (written 1854).

In 1881 Owen Evans (64) of Abererch, widower, magistrate, was living in Broom Hall, Llanarmon, Carnarvonshire. Present was son Owen Ll. J. (24) of Abererch, unmarried, magistrate.

In 1891 Owen Evans (74) of Abererch, widower, living on his own means, was residing in Broom Hall, Llanarmon, Carnarvonshire. Present were son O. Ll. J. Evans (34) of Abererch, married, living on his own means, daughter-in-law Lydia E. (25) of Portmadoc, grandchildren (born in Llanarmon): Rowland Ll. Evans (4), Margaret L. Evans (3).

In 1901 Owen Evans (84) of Abererch, widower, living on his own means, was residing in Broom Hall, Llanarmon, Carnarvonshire. Present were son Owen Ll. J. Evans (44) of Abererch, married, Colonel, daughter-in-law Lydia E. (35) of Portmadoc, grandson John M. J. Evans (7) of Llanarmon.
