At the time of the 1881 England Census Charles R Straton, aged 39, born in Scotland, mayor, . . . . . . . , surgeon, and wife Amy M Straton, aged 27, born in Stratford-sub-Castle Wilts, were living at 10 West St., Wilton Wilts. Present were sons (born in Wilton) Charles H (4) and Alexander W K (5 mo).
In January 1888 Charles Robert Straton was co-executor of the Will of Mary Smokem late of Great Wishford, Wilts, spinster.
