The Will of Edward Lloyd of Cwm Bychan, written 1 Jul 1728, proved: 16 Aug 1728

This first day of July one thousand seven hundred and twenty eight I Edward Lloyd being Sick in body but of Sound and perfect mind and memory doe make this my Last Will and Testament [in] Manner following

That is to Say I comitt My Body to the earth and My Soul to God Who Gave

Imprimus: I give and bequeath to my Son Evan Lloyd twelve pounds

Item: I give and bequeath to my Son Israell Lloyd ten pounds

I give & bequeath to my Son John Lloyd twelve pounds

Item: I give & bequeath to my daughter Dorothy fifteen pounds besides what she had of her own

Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Catherin Lloyd fifteen pounds

I give to my Son Richard Lloyd about a dozen & half Silver Butteris?

I leave the Clock? to Continue to the R-----

I give to my daughter Jane one Guinea

I nominate and my deare Wife and my Son Robert coe-Executors of this my Last Will and Testament In case my said Son Robert should happen to die within the Space of twelve years from this time that my said Wife [to home?] I appoint --?-- Executrix in Such [Case?] to Contribute & ---?--- the rest of the youngest children above mentioned out of the Share that belonged to the said Robert.

I nominate my Son Richard Lloyd to be overseere of this my Last Will & Testament.
