In the Name of God Amen, I Dorothy Prŷs of Barmouth in the Parish of Llanaber in the County of Merioneth and Diocese of Bangor Widow, being of a sound Mind Memory and Understanding—God be praised for the same—do make publish and declare my last Will and Testament in Manner and Form following, that is to say—
First I give and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Prŷs the Sum of one Hundred and twenty Pounds, to be at her own Disposal and Management, notwithstanding coverture.
I also give and bequeath to my Daughter Margaret Prŷs the like Sum of One Hundred and twenty Pounds.
I also give and bequeath to my Son William Prŷs the like Sum of One Hundred and twenty Pounds.
I likewise give and bequeath to my grandson Ellis Jones of Hendrellechydd the Interest of one Hundred & twenty Pounds until he attains the age of twenty one years and if it please God that he should attain that age I give and bequeath to him the Sum one Hundred and twenty Pounds—but should he die under age I give and bequeath the same to and between my Children equally.
All the Rest, Residue and remainder of my personal Estate of what kind soever I give and bequeath to my Daughter Jonet Prŷs and hereby appoint her my said Daughter Jonet Prŷs my sole Executrix—and I hereby revoke any Will or Wills by me here before made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I hereunto set my Hand and Seal this 3d Day of August in the Year of our Lord 1816.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Dorothy Prŷs as and for her last Will and Testament in the Presence of us—who in her Presence, at her Request and in the Presence of each other subscribe our Names as Witnesses hereto:

On the fifth Day of September in the Year of our Lord 1816 the within written Will was insinuated, proved, approved and in common Form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within-named Executrix Jonet Prys, she being first sworn in common Form of Law and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in Value to six Hundred Pounds.
