This is the last Will and Testament of me John Lloyd of Dinas in the Parish of Llanfair in the County of Merioneth Gentleman.

I give and bequeath unto my nephew John Lloyd of Carnarvon Twenty Pounds and unto my Niece Mrs. Lloyd the Wife of the said John Lloyd Twenty Pounds for her sole and separate use and unto my Niece Mrs. Griffith Widow of the late Mr. Robert Griffith Attorney Pwllheli Twenty Pounds and unto my Nephew John Lloyd of Talwinbach Forty Pounds and unto my Niece Margaret Lloyd of Caegernog Wife of John Jones for her sole and separate use Twenty Pounds and unto my Niece Jane Lloyd of Maentwrog Twenty Pounds and unto my Nephew Edward Lloyd of Graigddû Twenty Pounds and unto my Nephew William Lloyd of Graigddû Twenty Pounds and unto my Niece Lowry Lloyd of Brynmawr Wife of Thomas David for her sole and separate use Twenty Pounds and unto my Niece Jane Lloyd of Aberserw wife of David Griffith for her sole and separate use Twenty Pounds and unto John Lloyd of Bwynllyna One hundred and Forty pounds and unto Rees Lloyd of Llechwedd-du-bach Twenty five Pounds and unto Jane Lloyd of Tygwynygamlas wife of Robert Prichard for her sole and separate use Fifteen Pounds and unto Dorothy Lloyd of Llanddwywe Wife of Robert Jones for her sole and separate use Twenty Pounds and unto Margaret Evans who lives with me at Dinas Twenty Pounds and unto John Williams my Servant Twenty Pounds and unto Ellis Jones of Be----fawr Ten Pounds and unto David Morris of Sylvaen & Griffith Griffiths of Talhenddyn Ten Pounds a piece.

I also give and bequeath unto the Trustees of Gwynfryn Chapel in the Parish of Llanbedr in the said County of Merioneth Twenty Pounds in aid of the Funds of the said Chapel.

I also give and bequeath unto the Trustees of Rohoboth Chapel in the Parish of Llanenddwyn in the same County Ten Pounds in aid of the Funds of the same Chapel and I hereby charge the said Chapel Legacies on such of my personal ----icity as shall not consist of Mortgages and Bonds.

I also give and bequeath unto my wife Sarah Lloyd All and singular the Horses Cattle Sheep Pigs Corn Hay Implements Husbandry Household furniture Goods Chattels Farming Stock and Effects whatsoever at Dinas aforesaid for her own absolute use and benefit.

And as to all the rest and residue of my personal Estate and Effects of what nature or kind soever or wheresoever situate I give and bequeath the same (subject to my just debts funeral and Testamentary Expences) unto the said David Morris & Griffith Griffiths their Executors Administrators & assigns to stand possessed of the same Upon trust to invest the Sum of One hundred and Eighty Pounds thereof on such Security as they shall think fit and pay the annual Interest and proceeds of the said One hundred and Eighty pounds unto my Sister Elizabeth Lloyd Widow of Penygarreg for life and after her decease the said Sum of One hundred and Eighty pounds to fall into and form part of the residue of my personal Estate. And upon further trust to pay the annual interest Dividends and proceeds of the said residue unto my said wife Sarah for her life (provided she does not marry again in which case the bequest of the annual proceeds of the said residue in her favour shall cease).

And from and immediately after the decease of my said wife (provided she does not marry) Upon trust to pay Three hundred Pounds of the said residue unto and between the Children of the said John Lloyd of Brynllyna share and share alike and to pay One hundred and fifty pounds further part of the said residue unto and between the Children of the said Rees Lloyd of Llechwedd-dû-bach share and share alike and to pay One hundred pounds further part of the said residue unto and between the Children of the said Dorothy Lloyd of Llanddwywe share and share alike And upon trust to pay the remainder of the said residue (in case my said wife shall be unmarried) to such person or persons and in such manner and form as my said wife shall by her last Will and Testament bequeath or direct and in default of such Will Upon trust to pay the same residue unto my next of Kin according to the Statute of distributions Provided nevertheless that if my said wife shall marry again then from such marriage the said David Morris & Griffith Griffiths their Heirs Executors and Administrators shall stand possessed of all and singular the residue of my personal Estate and Effects and of which bequests have been made in her favour (excepting the Effects at Dinas) Upon trust for the Children of the said John Lloyd, Rees Lloyd and Catherine Lloyd share and share alike absolutely for ever.

And I hereby declare that the said David Morris & Griffith Griffiths their Executors Administrators and Assigns shall have full power to sell call in and invest on such Securities as they shall think fit All and singular the said residue and stand possessed thereof in the trusts of this my Will.

And I do hereby appoint the said David Morris and Griffith Griffiths Trustees and Executors of this my Will Provided always and I hereby direct that my said Trustees shall out of the Trust monies hereinbefore mentioned deduct and reimburse themselves all charges and expences incident to their trust and shall not be answerable for more monies than they actually receive and that neither shall be answerable for the receipts of the other or others of them but each for his own acts and defaults only nor shall they be answerable for the insufficiency of any Security whereon the said Moneys shall be invested or for the involuntary loss of any Sum of Money but shall be acquitted for all such Acts Matters and things as shall be done by them in pursuance hereof unless the same shall happen through their or his own wilful neglect or default Provided likewise and I hereby direct that in case any or either of my said Trustees or any future Trustee shall die or neglect or refuse to act in the trusts hereby created it shall be lawful for the surviving Trustee his Executors Administrators or assigns or the continuing Trustee by any writing under his hand and Seal to appoint any other person or persons in the place of the Trustee so dying neglecting or refusing to act. And the said trust Estates personal Effects and Monies shall be conveyed to and invested in such new Trustee or Trustees Upon the trusts hereinbefore declared.

And I hereby revoke all former Wills by me made. In Witness whereof I have to this first two Sheets hereof affixed my name and to this the third and last Sheet set my hand and Seal this thirtieth day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and thirty two (1832).

On the 25th day of April in the year of our Lord 1833 the above written Will was insinuated, proved, approved and in common form of Law decreed valid, and Administration granted to the above named David Morris and Griffith Griffiths, Joint Executors, they being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of Fifteen hundred pounds: before me
