On 1 Mar 1822 Rees Lloyd was a witness at the marriage of his brother John to Eleanor Griffith.

Named as a beneficiary in the Will of his great-uncle John Lloyd of Dinas (1832)

In 1841 Rees Lloyd (35), farmer, and wife Margaret (35) were living in Llechwedd-du bach Llandanwg. Present were children: Jane (10), Alice (9), John (7), Robert (5), Moris (2), William (8 months), Rees (8 months)

In 1851 Rees Lloyd (48) of Llandanwg, farmer freehold 160? acres employing 1 labourer, and wife Margret (45) of Llanenddwyn, were living in Llechwedd-du bach Llandanwg. Present were children (born in Llandanwg): John (17), employed on farm, Alice (18), employed on farm, Morice (12), employed on farm, William (10), scholar, Rees (10), scholar, Griffith (8)

In 1861 Rees Lloyd (59) of Llandanwg, farmer of 232 acres, and Margaret Lloyd (56) of Llanenddwyn, were living in Llechwedd-du bach Llandanwg. Present were children (born in Llandanwg): John (27), Morris (22), William (20), Rees (20), grandson D. Ll. Morris (7) of Porthmadog Caernarvon.

Letters of Administration of the personale estate and effects of Rees Lloyd late of Llechwedd-du in the Parish of Llandanwg in the County of Merioneth, farmer, deceased, who died 22 August 1869, were granted 1 August 1870 at St. Asaph to Margaret Lloyd of Llechwedd-du aforesaid, widow, the relict of the said deceased, she having been first sworn. Effects under £1,000. 3
