Co-executor and residuary legatee of his father's Will (proved 1798), in which he is also bequeathed an Ounce of the Sloop Eleanor-Robert Lloyd Master.

Bequeathed 5 shillings in his mother's Will (proved 1814)

Evan Lloyd of Caenest was one of the Trustees nominated in the Will of his uncle Evan William of Gerddi-bluog in Llanfair-Juxta-Harlech (written 1803, proved 1805).

"William Pugh's predecessors as tenants of Caenest were Edmund Lloyd and his son Evan Lloyd, a son and grandson of Evan Lloyd of Cwm Bychan, gent. William Pugh certainly became tenant prior to Evan Lloyd's death in 1844 since he signed an account book as 'William Pugh Caenest' in September 1838." 5
