"OBITUARY
The death occurred at Strathfleld on June 21 of Mrs. Mary Ellen Fryer, formerly of Bringelly, at the age of 83 years. Her husband, who died in 1917, was a brother of the late Mr. William Fryer, of Luddenham. The name of Fryer is among those of pioneers of the Cobbltty, Bringelly, and Luddenham districts.
Deceased is survived by two sons and five daughters Ernest, Percy, Edith (Mrs. E. Earls), Ada (Mrs. J. Thompson), Olive (Mrs. H. Craig), Rita (Mrs. J. Grogan), and Winifred (Mrs. P. Smith).
The funeral took place on June 23. Mrs. Fryer was buried alongside . her late husband in the Church of England portion of Penrith general cemetery." 4
