At the time of the 1851 England Census Frederick E Cooper, aged 10, born in Wincanton Somerset, scholar, and brothers John W Cooper and William E Cooper, were boarding in Warminster Wiltshire.

At the time of the 1861 England Census Fredk. E Cooper, aged 19, born in Wincanton Somerset, pupil to civil . . . . . . . , was boarding at 15 Tavistock St., St. Pancras Middlesex.

At the time of the 1871 England Census Frederick E Cooper, aged 29, born in Wincanton Somerset, unmarried, civil engineer, was boarding at 19 Kensington Sq., Kensington London.

In June 1875 Frederick Eastment Cooper of 35 Belsize-road Hampstead in co. Middlesex, civil engineer, was co-executor of the Will of his late brother-in-law George Cardell of Wincanton.

At the time of the 1881 England Census Frederick E. Cooper, aged 39, born in Wincanton Somerset, civil engineer, and wife Alice, aged 32, born in East Molesey Surrey, were living at 6 Alexandra Rd., Hampstead London. Present were children (born in Hampstead Middlesex) George F. G. (6), scholar, Alfred H. (4), scholar, and Edward E. C. (2).

At the time of the 1891 England Census Frederick E. Cooper, aged 49, born in Wincanton Somerset, civil engineer, and wife Alice, aged 41, born in Molesey Surrey, were living at 41 Addison Gardens, Hammersmith London. With them was son George (15) of Hampstead London, scholar.

At the time of the 1901 England Census Frederick E. Cooper, aged 59, born in Wincanton Somerset, civil engineer, M.J.C.E., and wife Alice, aged 51, born in East Molesey Surrey, were living at 41 Addison Gardens, Hammersmith London. With him were son Edward Ernest Conrad Cooper (32) of Hampstead London, solicitor, and daughter-in-law Lucy Elizabeth Cooper (33) of St. George Hanover Square London.

EMINENT ENGINEER'S DEATH

Mr. Frederick Eastment Cooper, the eminent civil engineer, who played a prominent part in the transport of Cleopatra's Needle from Egypt to its present on the Thames Embankment, has died at Everdene, Bourne End, a few weeks before his 93rd birthday.
