The marriage took place at St, Mary's Cathedral, Sydney, on Boxing Day, of Cpl. Joan Marie Carlin. AWAS, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Carlin. of Trangie. and Staff-Sgt. Allan Godfrey Terry (2nd AIF Returned), younger son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Terry, of --?-- The ceremony was performed by Rev. Fr. R. Reynolds.

The bnde, who wu married in uniform, was attended by her sister, Pat Maude who wore a dusty pink frock : with mat? hung hat and white accessories.

Petty Officer Robert Berwick, RAN was best man.

Fellow members of the AWAS formed a guard of honor at the church.

The subsequent reception was at Princes' where over sixty guests were received by Mrs. Carlin smartly frocked in navy flat crepe, relieved with
white, and a navy and white hat. A spray of white carnations and daisies was pinned to her white handbag.

She was assisted by Mrs. Terry, mother of the bridegroom, attired in a dusty pink silk crepe with navy hat and accessories. Her posy of mixed flowers toned with her frock.

The beautiful wedding cake was made by Mrs Archie Cameron and decorated by Mr. Fred Coffee.

The happy couple are spending a fortnight's leave at Cronulla before returning to their respective camps." 3
