Will of George O'Donnell late of Bondi, Gentleman, written 17 Nov 1914, probate 15 May 1924.
This is the last Will and Testament of me George O'Donnell of "Wairoa" Flood Street Bondi in the State of New South Wales Gentleman. I revoke all prior Wills at any time heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. I appoint Reginald Frederick Barker of Flood Street Bondi aforesaid Civil Engineer and my son Sydney Leslie O'Donnell of Bondi aforesaid Estate Agent (hereinafter called my trustees) executors and trustees of this my Will. I bequeath the sum of one hundred pounds to my son Arthur George O'Donnell absolutely. I bequeath my Iron Safe situate at "Wairoa" Flood Street Bondi aforesaid to my said son Sydney Leslie O'Donnell absolutely. I bequeath my piano situate at "Wairoa" Flood Street Bondi aforesaid to my daughter Edith Redfern Barker absolutely. I give and bequeath all my jewels trinkets plate linen china glass books pictures furniture and household effects unto my daughters Laeta Maud O'Donnell and Edith Redfern Barker as such of them as survive me to be fairly and equally distributed among them in such manner as they agree upon or in case they are unable to agree then as is settled by my said Trustees whose decision shall be final. I devise my house known as Number 89 Arthur Street North Sydney to my said daughter Laeta Maud O'Donnell absolutely. I devise my house known as Number 87 Arthur Street North Sydney aforesaid to my said daughter Edith Redfern Barker and her husband the said Reginald Frederick Barker equally as tenants in common. I devise my cottage known as Number 30 Little Arthur Street North Sydney to my daughter Stella Mabel Tilley and her husband William John Tilley equally as tenants in common. I give devise and bequeath the rest residue and remainder of my estate both real and personal unto my said trustees Upon Trust to sell call in and convert into money the same or such part thereof as does not consist of money and to divide the proceeds arising therefrom equally among my grandchildren Noreen Joyce O'Donnell, Jean Maud O'Donnell, Stella Florence O'Donnell, Phyllis Marjory O'Donnell and Rowan Schuldam Barker or such of them as survive me share and share alike if and when they shall attain the age of twenty one years. And I empower my said Trustees to apply the whole or any part of the expectant Share of the income thereof for or towards the maintenance and education of either of my aforesaid Grand-children without being liable to see to the application thereof. And I declare that my wife Emily Maud O'Donnell does not participate in this my Will as she is possessed of separate estate. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this seventeenth day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand nine hundred and fourteen. George O'Donnell.

15th May, 1924. Probate of above Will granted to Sydney Leslie O'Donnell of Bondi Company Manager one of the Executors therein named, leave being reserved to Reginald Frederick Barker the other Executor therein named to come in and prove. Testator died at Bondi 6th March, 1924. Estate sworn at £1206: 11: 2 Net. 9
