OLD RESIDENT'S DEATH.
The town on Tuesday lost a life-long resident by the death of Mrs. Caroline Miles at the age of 86 years. She was the third daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Spackman, and for many years resided at Coxstalls, but for the last three years, while she has been an invalid, she has lived with her nephew and niece (Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Wallis) at "Clovelly," New-road. Mrs. Miles, whose husband died 30 years ago, was in her earlier years a well-known vocalist and sang in the choir at the Congregational Church.
