"This is the last Will and Testament of Edward Fletcher of Grenfell New South Wales. I hereby give devise and bequeath to my Wife Eleanor Fletcher heirs Executors and administrators for her and their own use and benefit absolutely and for ever All my Estate and Effects both real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature and quality so ever and I hereby appoint her the said Eleanor Fletcher sole Executrix of this my Will. In Witness thereof I have hereunto set my hand this seventeenth day of November one thousand Eight hundred and seventy four. EDWARD FLETCHER (signed).
Signed by the said Edward Fletcher in the presence of us present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of Each other attest and subscribe our names as Witnesses hereto — Wm. Semple Grenfell N.S.W., James MacArthur Grenfell.
26th April 1880. This day by Petition Probate of the last Will and Testament of Edward Fletcher late of Grenfell, General Storekeeper, deceased, was granted to Eleanor Fletcher the Executrix named in the said Will. Testator died 23rd March 1880. Goods sworn under £400.— Probate dated 26th April 1880."

[Herald.]— A sudden death occurred to Mr. Edward Fletcher while on a visit from Sydney to his relations here. Deceased, while seated, fell suddenly down in a fit, and before medical aid could be obtained he expired. At an inquest, a verdict was returned to the effect that death was occasioned by an epileptic fit." ^{7 8}
