At the time of the 1891 England Census Ada G Goble, age 20, born in Milton, single, elementary school teacher, was boarding in White House, Hoo, Kent. Her sister Edith was with her.

At the time of the 1901 England Census Ada Stevens, age 30, born in Sittingbourne Kent, and husband Stanley Stevens, age 29, born in Upchurch Kent, fruit & vegetable salesman, were living at 31 Ruby Rd., Walthamstow Essex. With them was daughter Ethel (5) of Kennington London.

At the time of the 1911 England Census Ada Stevens, age 40, born in Milton Regis Kent (mother of 2 children), and husband of 15 years Stanley Stevens, age 39, born in Upchurch Kent, fruit & potato salesman, were living in High Gate Hill, Newington, Kent. With them were children Ethel (15) of Kennington London, school, and Cecil (8) of Walthamstow Essex, school.

SITTINGBOURNE

DEATH OF A RESIDENT. — On Saturday Mrs. Stevens, the wife of Mr. Stanley Stevens, farmer and fruit grower, passed away at their residence, Border Lane, after a long illness. Before coming to Sittingbourne, Mr. and Mrs. Stevens lived for many years at Pond Farm, Newington. The deceased lady, who belonged to an old Milton family, was well known and respected.

DEATH OF MRS. S. STEVENS. — The death occurred on Saturday, after a long illness, of Mrs. Stevens, the wife of Mr. Stanley Stevens, of "Stanfield," Borden Lane. Mrs. Stevens, who was sixty one, was well-known at Newington and Challock, where Mr. Stevens farmed for different periods. On leaving Challock Mr. Stevens practically retired, and he and his wife made their home at Sittingbourne. Mrs. Stevens was a daughter of the late Mr. R. Goble*, miller, of Milton. She is survived by the widower and a son and daughter.
