At the time of the 1891 England Census Edith F Goble, age 22, born in Milton, single, elementary school teacher, was boarding in White House, Hoo, Kent. Her sister Ada was with her.

At the time of the 1901 England Census Edith F Goble, age 32, born in Milton by Sittingbourne, elementary school mistress, was living 29 Albany Rd., Sittingbourne Kent. Present was her mother Sarah Goble, age 55, born in Lee, widow.

At the time of the 1911 England Census Edith Fanny Saunders, age 42, born in Milton Regis, head teacher, mother of 2 children, and husband of 9 years Frank George Saunders, age 42, born in Faversham Kent, boot salesman, were living at 58 Albany Rd., Sittingbourne Kent. With them were daughters (born in Sittingbourne): Ada (4) and Ivy (1 month), and Edith's mother Sarah Goble (65) of Lee Kent, widow.

In the 1939 Register Edith F Saunders (b. 6 Aug 1868), retired school mistress, and husband Frank G Saunders (b. 1 Jul 1868), retired draper's traveller, were living at 4 Wellington Road, Bexley, Kent. Death of Mrs. E. F. Saunders. — Former headmistress of the infants' department of St. Michael's, Sittingbourne, for many years, Mrs. Edith Fanny Saunders, of 4, Wellington Road, Bexley, died recently after a long illness, aged 84. Before moving to Bexley she was well known in the Sittingbourne area, and had a long association with Holy Trinity Church, Sittingbourne, where she was married 51 years ago. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Miss Saunders and Mrs. F. R. Woolcock. The funeral took place at Christchurch, Bexleyheath, on Friday.
