In the 1939 Register Joseph Newick (b. 27 Jun 1883), agricultural labourer, and wife Minnie (b. 21 Feb 1886), unpaid domestic duties, were living in ----nam Cottage, St. Paul's Cray, Chislehurst and Sidcup, Kent. At the same address was [son] Gordon J Newick (b. 15 Sep 1921), plumber's assistant.
