Writing his Will in September 1722 John Thatcher of Warbleton, cordwainer, bequeathed to his wife Elizabeth Thatcher £20 along with his tenement, garden and orchard in Warbleton which he holds on a thousand-year lease from Thomas Chapman of Warbleton, blacksmith, for the term of her natural life. His Will was proved February 1732.
Writing his Will in April 1724 Joseph Chapman of Waldron, yeoman, bequeathed 5 shillings to his daughter Elizabeth the wife of John Thatcher.
