At the time of the 1911 England Census Mary Ann Nutter, aged 32, born in Maidstone Kent (mother of 3 children), and husband of 13 years George Thomas Nutter, aged 36, born in Swalecliffe Kent, seaman Govt. dockyard, were living at 78 Henry St., Chatham Kent.
