At the time of the 1841 Scotland Census Margaret McCall, aged 3, born in Ayrshire, was with her uncle John Shaw in Chlachrie, Girvan Ayrshire.
At the time of the 1851 Scotland Census, Margaret McCall, aged 12, born in Girvan Ayrshire, sewer, was at home with her mother in Ballybroke, Girvan.
At the time of the 1861 Scotland Census Margaret McCall, aged 23, born in Girvan Ayrshire, was working as a domestic servant for the family of David Rankin in Dundonald Rd., Kilmarnock Ayrshire.
At the time of the 1871 Scotland Census, Margaret Sharp, aged 30, born in Girvan Ayrshire, and husband John Sharp, aged 27, born in Dumfries, railway guard, were living in Dundonald Rd., Kilmarnock Ayrshire. Present were relative Elizabeth I. Wilson* (2 months) of London England, and 3 boarders.
