At the time of the 1851 Scotland Census Isabella Shaw, aged 39, born in Girvan Ayrshire, sewer, was living in Ballybroke, Girvan Ayrshire. Present were daughter Margaret McCall (12) of Girvan, sewer, son West Wilson (5) of Girvan, daughter Jean Rowan (2) of Girvan, nephew William McClure (6) of Girvan

At the time of the 1861 Scotland Census Isabella Shaw, aged 41, born in Girvan Ayrshire, agricultural labourer, was living in Ballybroke, Girvan. With her were sons (born in Girvan): West Wilson (15), ag. labourer, and Thomas Keenan (4).

At the time of the 1881 Scotland Census Isabella Shaw, aged 59?, born in Girvan Ayrshire, washerwoman, unmarried, was living in Dalrymple St., Girvan Ayrshire.

At the time of the 1891 Scotland Census Isabella Shaw, aged 82, born in Girvan Ayrshire, unmarried, old farm servant, was living at 140 Dalrymple St., Girvan. With her was granddaughter Isabella Shaw (14) of Girvan.
