Abstract of the Will of Thomas Anwyl of Vron in the County of Merioneth, Gentleman, written 4 Mar 1825, proved 16 Jan 1830.

Gives & bequeaths all his personal estate to his brothers David Anwyl and Rice Anwyl in Trust to sell and dispose of to the best advantage in order that all his debts be paid, the rest and residue he gives & bequeaths among his younger children.

Refers to an indenture of lease & release dated 15 & 16 Dec 1808 and made between his late father the Reverend Rice Anwyl, Clerk, deceased and himself Thomas Anwyl Lloyd so described of the first part, Anna Maria Pryse of the second part, David Anwyl, Gentleman, of the third part and the Reverend Griffith Owen, Clerk, and Hugh Owen, Esquire, of the fourth part, said to be a settlement made previous to Thomas's marriage to Anna Maria Pryse, wherein the capital messuage or tenement lands and hereditaments in the parish of Llanderfel and county of Merioneth, being the inheritance of his said late wife, and the same in the parish of Trawsfynydd in the said county, being the inheritance of the said Rice Anwyl and himself, to the use of his three sons and two daughters of the said marriage, namely Thomas Pryse, Lewis, Rice Hugh, Ann Catherine and Margaret Jane Anwyl.

Gives & devises a certain meadow, piece or parcel of land called D^ol gwyrog in the parish of Llanderfel purchased in fee simple from Colonel Vaughan to the use of his said children.

Gives & bequeaths all his silver plate to the said David Anwyl and Rice Anwyl.

Gives & bequeaths his silver coat chain, seals & appendages to his son Thomas Pryse.

All the rest & residue of his personal estate he gives & bequeaths to the said David Anwyl & Rice Anwyl, nominating and appointing them co-executors of his last will and testament.
