In 1797 Evan Anwyl of Harlech, shopkeeper, was a witness to the Will of Lewis Richard of Gerddubluog in Llanfair-juxta-Harlech, Gent.
In 1807 Evan Anwyl was one of those who paid bond for Administration of the personal estate of his uncle[-in-law] Meyrick Ellis of Harlech, mariner.
On 23 Jan 1827 Evan Anwyl, Shopkeeper, of Harlech, was convicted before H. Reveley and J. Edwards, J.P.'s, of using defective weights in his shop. Adjudged to forfeit the weights and 20s. with 12s. costs. 4
In 1827 Evan Anwyl was co-executor of the Will of his uncle[-in-law] John Richard of Ty-mawr.
In 1841 Evan Anwyl, aged about 65, draper & grocer, and wife Anne, aged about 70, were living in Harlech, Llandanwg.
