Abstract of the Will of Edward Nanney of Cerrig y Velin in the Parish of Llanfihangel y Pennant in the County of Merioneth, Gent., written 20 Sep 1652, proved 6 Jul 1653. 3
Directs his body to be buried in the church or chapel of Llanfihangel-y-Pennant.
Gives & bequeaths to his wife Elizabeth Gwyn als. Nanney all the sheep and cattle which are in the custody of his son-in-law Mr Hugh Owen; also two mares and a horse, and six steers which are in the custody of William John David Lloyd, and £1 19s. 6c. held by David Lucas.
Gives & bequeaths to his son Robert Nanney one mare.
Gives & bequeaths the said mare's colt to his grandson Edward Nanney the son of his son Robert Nanney.
Gives & bequeaths to his son Robert Nanney two bonds, one of £20 owed by Edward's sister Mary Tannaste, and the other held by his said son Robert.
Gives & bequeaths to his daughter Gwen Nanney als. Owen two cows which are in the custody of her husband Hugh Owen his son-in-law.
Gives & bequeaths 2 shillings to his daughter Anne Maddocke.
Nominates & appoints his wife Elizabeth Gwynne als. Nanney sole executrix of his last will and testament.
