Abstract of the Will of Maurice Lewis Anwill of Nantmor in the County of Merioneth, Gent., written 20 Jan 1647/8, proved 20 Jan 1648/9.

Gives & bequeaths 12 pence towards the reparation of the Cathedral church of Bangor.

Gives & bequeaths 12 pence towards the reparation of the church of Bethkelert.

Gives & devises all those messuages, lands & tenements with their appurtenances in the townships of Crickieth, Botend, Berkin and elsewhere, with their associated deeds, evidences & writings, to his son Ellis Anwill, gent. for and during the term of his natural life, and after his decease, to his grandson Maurice Anwill, son of the said Ellis Anwill.

Gives & bequeaths £24 to his son Ellis Anwill.

Gives & bequeaths £180 to his son Lewis Anwill.

Gives & bequeaths £180 to his son Richard Anwill.

Gives & bequeaths 5 shillings to his son Robert Anwill.

Gives & bequeaths £18 to his grandchild Katherine Lewis, one of the daughters of his son-in-law Ellis Lewis, gent.

Gives & bequeaths £18 to Ellin Lewis, another daughter of his son-in-law Ellis Lewis

Gives & bequeaths £4 to William Prichard, base son of his son Richard Anwill.

Wills that the £52 his son Robert owes him should be given to Robert's daughters Ellin and Catherine.

Gives & bequeaths £4 to Thomas Ellis, base son of his son Ellis Anwill.

All the rest of his goods, chattels & cattels he gives & bequeaths to his eldest son William Anwill whom he nominates & constitutes sole Executor of his last will and testament.
