Abstract of the Will of Edward Morgan, Clerk, Rector of Llangelynin, written 10 Apr 1700, inventory taken 21 Apr 1701, proved 22 Jul 1701.

His body to be buried in the parish church of Llan y mowddwy

Gives to his eldest daughter Jane Morgans [money] owing to him from Mr John Nanney.

Gives to his son John Morgans the money due to him by bond from Hugh Owen and his heirs.

Gives £60 to his daughter Margaret Morgans to be paid to her by his son Edward Morgan.

All the rest and residue of his personal estate, goods & chattels he gives to his wife Margaret Morgans whom he makes the sole executrix of his last will and testament.
