Abstract of the Will of Richard Lloyd of Peniarth in the County of Denbigh, Gent., written 31 Mar 1737, proved 27 Oct 1743. 1
Refers to an Indenture of Settlement tripartite dated 20 Jun 1710 made on the marriage of himself and Margaret his wife, wherein there is a proviso that it shall be lawful for the said Richard Lloyd at any time during his life for the preferment and advancement of any of their younger child(ren) by any deed or by his last will and testament in the presence of three or more credible witnesses to charge all his messuage, tenement and lands with their appurtenances in Peniarth called Tŷ Newydd, Ca'erlloer in three parcels, and all those closes and parcels of land, meadow & pasture with their appurtenances commonly known as Bryn-Bedw, Gwernydd issa, Gwernydd ucha, and Gwernydd yr ychen with their appurtenances, or part or parcel thereof with any sum or sums of money not exceeding £200 to be raised and paid after his decease. The said Richard Lloyd by way of his last will & testament decides to make full use of this power and demises all his messuage, tenement and lands aforesaid in Peniarth with the full sum of £200 to the use of his second son David Lloyd, to be raised and paid to him within one year after his decease.
He gives and bequeaths £1 1s. to his eldest son Gabriel Lloyd.
He gives and bequeaths all the rest and residue of his personal estate, goods, cattle & chattels to his wife Margaret and to his second son David Lloyd to be equally divided among them, and appoints them co-executors of his last will and testament.

By an Indenture dated 10 Oct 1743, Richard's Lloyd's second son David Lloyd, co-Executor of his last will and testament, renounced and disclaimed executorship, thereby remising and releasing to his mother Margaret Lloyd, widow, all his estate, right, title and interest in and to the said premisses.
