Abstract of the Will of David Lloyd of Bodnod Eglwysbach in the County of Denbigh, written 25 Jun 1714, proved 8 Aug 1719. 3
Gives, devises & bequeaths all his messuages, tenements and lands with appurtenances in the parish of Llanycil in county Merioneth called Moel y garnedd currently occupied by James Edwards or his undertenants to his second son John Lloyd and his heirs, provided his eldest son and heir David Lloyd pays John Lloyd £180 on one of the feast days of St. Michael the Archangel that takes place within three years after his death.
Gives, devises & bequeaths to his son Hugh Lloyd, Clerk, all his messuage in Bodnod als. Bodnant in the parish of Eglwysvach in county Denbigh subject to his eldest son and heir David Lloyd paying Hugh £160 on one of the feast days of St. Michael the Archangel that takes place within three years after his death.
Item. Gives, devises & bequeaths to his daughter Catherine Lloyd and her heirs his messuages within the town of Denbigh currently held by Robert Lloyd and Elizabeth Lancaster, widow, on the condition that his eldest son and heir David Lloyd pay his daughter Catherine £25 on one of the feast days of St. Michael the Archangel that takes place within three years after his death.
Item. Gives, devises & bequeaths to his granchild Catherine Lloyd daughter of his daughter Lloyd of Forest all his messuages & lands with appurtenances in Tallyn als. Trallwyn in the parish of Llansan ffraid in county Denbigh, provided his eldest son and heir David Lloyd pay his daughter Catherine £30 on one of the feast days of St. Michael the Archangel that takes place within three years after his death.
