Abstract of the Will of James Brynker of Brynker in the County of Carnarvon Esquire, written 4 Dec 1738, proved 4 Aug 1740.
Refers to a deed indented made between James Brynker, Esquire, and his third son James Brynker, Clerk, dated 1 Feb 1736/7 whereby his entitlement to a moiety of a messuage farm or tenement called Tyddyn Mawr in Llanfihangel-y-Pennant will pass to Thomas Brynker, grandson of James Brynker, Esq.
Gives, devises & bequeaths £100 to his grandson Thomas Brynker to be paid him within five years after his death.
Gives, devises & bequeaths to his grandson William Brynker the messuage tenement & lands in Penmorfa in the county of Carnarvon
Gives, devises & bequeaths £200 to his grandson William Brynker, to be paid at a rate of £25 every six months, on 1 May and 1 November.
Wills that if his daughter Jane Brynkir outlives him by ten years she should enjoy the tenement called Aberdunant situated in Llanfihangel-y-Pennant & Penmorfa during the term of her natural life, Jane paying to [her brother] William Brynker £5 yearly.
Gives & bequeaths to his grandson William Brynker all his books and all his papers & parchments in his closet relating to Brynker or Treborth, and also his card.
Item. Gives & bequeaths £100 to his grandson Watkin Brynker to be paid to him within five years after his death.
Item. Gives & bequeaths £5 to each of his children to buy mourning [rings] or to use as they please.
All the rest & residue of his personal estate he gives & bequeaths his son James Brynker, Clerk, and to his daughter Jane Brynker, spinster, following the payment of all his debts.
Constitutes & appoints his son James Brynker and daughter Jane Brynker as co-executors of his last will and testament.
