Abstract of the Will of Hugh Thomas of Hendre Gent, written 20 Apr 1750, proved 13 Nov 1756.
Gives, devises & bequeaths all and singular his messuages, cottages, mills, lands, tenements, hereditaments and settlements to his wife Mary Thomas, these possessions laid out in their marriage settlement dated 3 Sep 1731, which deed consisted of Hugh Thomas of Hendre Merioneth, Esqr. of the first part, Edward Morgan of Towyn Merioneth, Clerk, and Robert Nanney of Llwyn Merioneth of the second part, William Vaughan of Corsygedol Merioneth and Lewis Edward of Talgarth Merioneth Gent. of the third part, and Rees Price Rector of Glynn Merioneth of the fourth part.
Gives and bequeaths £800 to his younger children Pierce, Hugh, John, Mary, Elizabeth, Margaret & Catherine Thomas, share and share alike, to be paid to them on attaining the age of 21 years or when they marry, whichever should come first.
Nominates and appoints his wife Mary Thomas and eldest son Anthony Thomas as joint Executors of his last will and testament.
