Abstract of the Will of Ellin Anwyl of Hengae, Widow, written 31 Dec 1825, proved 30 Oct 1826, probate granted 4 Nov 1826. 4
- Gives and devises unto her nephews Rice Anwyl of Manchester in the county of Lancaster Esquire* and Thomas Anwyl of Vron in county Merioneth* all her capital messuage, a mansion house called Hengae with the demesnes and other lands belonging thereto in the Parish of Tal y llyn
- Declares her said capital and other messuages, mills, lands, hereditaments and real estates with the appurtenances shall be in Trust for her sister Jane Roberts and her assigns during the term of her natural life.
- Declares that immediately after the decease of her sister Jane Roberts the said messuages e.t.c. shall remain in trust to Lewis Anwyl of Vron, second son of the said Thomas Anwyl
- Gives and bequeaths the surplus, if any, of her personal estate and effects to her sister Jane Roberts
- Declares that immediately after the decease of her sister Jane Roberts the surplus, if any, of her personal estate and effects will be bequeathed to the said Lewis Anwyl
- Gives and bequeaths £100 to her nephew David Anwyl of Bala Esquire.*

An inventory of the goods, chattels and effects of Ellen Anwyl of Hengae in the parish of Talyllyn in the county of Merioneth, widow, who resided some years previous to her death at Doluwchegryd in the parish of Dolgelley in the said county with her sister Miss Roberts, was taken 28 Oct 1826 by Rees Owen and Wm. Williams and valued at £324 3s. 6d.
