Proprietor of Hengae 1698. He or his uncle of the same name was assessed £15 for the 1693 Muster. He was church-warden of Talyllyn, 1706, party to the marriage settlement of his son William 22 July 1721 and to an agreement with John Lloyd of Aberllefeny in which he claimed depasturage and other rights of common in Ceiswyn as the demesne of Hengae. 2
