At the time of the 1861 England Census Ellen Collier, age 33, born in St Giles Middlesex, and husband Charles Collier, age 34, born in Yatley Hants, bricklayer, were living in London Road, Ash Surrey. With them were children: Mary Ann* (14) of Eversley Hants, Caroline* (10) of Frimley Surrey, scholar, Elizabeth* (8) of Frimley, scholar, and Allice F (5 m) of Frimley. Present also was Charles's aunt Ann Collier (70), widow.

At the time of the 1871 England Census Ellen Collier, age 43, born in Bloomsbury Middx, and husband Charles Collier, age 46, born in Yateley Hants, bricklayer, were living at 7 Wayford St., Battersea Surrey. With them were children (born in York Town Surrey): Alice (10), Thomas (9), Emily (3) and Ellenor (1 month).

At the time of the 1881 England Census Ellen Collier, age 53, born in St. Georges Bloomsbury London, and husband Chas. Collier, age 56, born in Yateley Hampshire, bricklayer, were living at 26 Tonsley Hill, Wandsworth London. Present were children (born in York Town Surrey): Thos P (18), Chas A (15), Emily M (13), Ellenor K (10).

FUNERAL OF MRS. COLLIER.

The remains of the late Mrs. Ellen Collier were interred in St. Michael's Churchyard, York Town, on Saturday last. The deceased lady was the widow of the late Mr. C. Collier, who was churchwarden of St. Michael's for about 16 years. She was also one of the members of the first choir started in the parish. Mrs. Collier died at Penge, and the body was brought to Camberley Station, and moved direct to St. Michael's Church. The Vicar, the Rev. C. P. Berryman, officiated. The chief mourners were members of the family. A large number of wreaths were placed on the coffin, including two from the teachers and pupils of the Arthur-road Board Schools, Beckenham, of which the deceased's eldest daughter is head mistress.
