At the time of the 1841 England Census, Henry Newick, aged about 55, not born in the county, ag lab, and wife Fanny, aged about 55, born in the county, were living in Jolly, Marden, Kent. With them was daughter Anne (25), born in the county.

At the time of the 1851 England Census, Henry Newick, age 66, born in Marden Kent [sic], ag lab, and wife Frances, age 68, born in Yalding Kent, were living in Marden.
