Writing his Will in Oct 1680 Thomas Barnes of Sedlescombe, husbandman, bequeathed 10 shillings to his daughter Elizabeth.

Elizabeth was probably married. Discluded as possible husbands are Samuel Chester of Mountfield (1658) and Jeremy (Jeremiah) Robinson of Beckley (1663) due to the Elizabeth Barnes in each marriage having been otherwise identified.
