"Mrs. Jane Ross.
The death occurred on Saturday of Mrs Jane Ross of Webb Street, relict of James Ross, who predeceased her by seven years. The deceased lady was born at Mogong, between Parkes and Trundle and had been a resident of Parkes all her life. She was 74 years of age, and her death followed an illness of three weeks.
The late Mrs. Ross is survived by four sons and four daughters. The sons are Messrs. Edward James (Parkes), Walter (Tottenham), Mervyn (Deep Lead) and Henry Clyde (Tottenham), and the daughters Mrs. W . J. Coventry (East Orange), Mrs. C. Waters (Parkes), Mrs. M. O'Malley (Dubbo) and Mrs. W. Sladden (Parkes).
The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon, to the Church of England cemetery, where the burial service was read by the Rev.A. E. Weston, Rector of St. George's Church...." 4
