Sidney Albert son of Emma White of Wootton Bassett, single woman (baptismal record). Sidney's parents married in 1875, yet Sidney's mother, Emma White, was employed by Sidney's father at the time of the 1871 Census. It is likely therefore that the William Parham Warman was the biological father of the three children shown in the register as children of Emma White, single woman.

In 1901 Sidney A Warman, aged 29, born in Wootton Bassett Wilts, steam hammer & blacksmith's furnaceman, and wife Alice, aged 30, born in Monkton Deverill Wilts, were living at 25 Albert St., Swindon Wilts. With them were children (born in Swindon) Emma L J (10), William H (8), Elsie M (6), Florence (3), and Sidney H (1). Sidney's youngest brother Walter D W Warman (19) of Swindon, single, was at the same address.
In 1911 Sidney A Warman, aged 39, born in Wootton Bassett Wilts, furnace stoker in G.W. Rly, and wife of 20 years Alice, aged 45, born in Monkton Devril (mother of 10 children, 4 deceased) were living at 32 Winifred St., Swindon Wilts. With them were children (born in Swindon): William H (18), milliner's errand boy, Elsie M (16), nurse girl, Florence M (14), school, Mable G (8), school, and Fredrick C (5), school.
In the 1939 Register Sidney A Warman (b. 5 Dec 1871), widowed, retired GWR fitter's help, was at 32 Winifred Street, Swindon Wilts. At the same address were [son] William H Warman (b. 7 Jan 1893), married, foreman coal dept., and [his wife] Nellie W Warman (b. 30 Sep 1895), unpaid domestic duties, and [their son] Stanley A Warman (b. 9 Sep 1926), at school.
