AKERMAN—READ.
The Parish Church, Tonbridge, was the scene yesterday (Thursday) afternoon of an extremely pretty wedding, the contracting parties being Miss Amy Akerman, eldest daughter of Mr. G. Akerman, of Cage Farm, Tonbridge, and Mr. William John Leonard Read, eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Read, of Swindon, Wilts. The bride was charmingly attired in a dress of Venetian satin, with veil of Limerick lace, presented by Mrs. Charles Axten, aunt), and wreath of orange blossoms on the skirt and hair. Mr. also carried a shower bouquet composed of choice white flowers. The bridesmaids were the Misses Eva and Norah Akerman (sisters of the bride), and Miss Read, sister of the bridegroom)....
