In 1767 Thomas was named as a beneficiary in his father's Will.

In 1774 Thomas was named as a beneficiary in the Will of his brother John Maskelyne of Harris Crofts in Wootton Bassett.

In 1777 Thomas was named as a beneficiary in the Will of his brother William Maskelyne of Harris Crofts in Wootton Bassett.

In 1785 Thomas Maskelyne was one of the Trustees of the Will of his brother-in-law Robert Mundee of Cotmarsh in Broad Hinton, yeoman.

In 1800 Thomas was bequeathed £5 in his mother's Will.

Abstract of the Will of Thomas Maskelyne of Harris Croft Farm in the Parish of Wootton Bassett in the County of Wilts, Dairyman, written 18 Dec 1800, proved 9 Mar 1801. 4

Gives, devises & bequeaths to his wife Ann Maskelyne his messuage or dwelling house late Henlys in Wootton Bassett as long as she remains a widow, paying to her an annuity of £10. After the death or remarriage of his wife Ann Maskelyne, he gives & bequeaths the said dwelling house to his daughter Martha Maskelyne and her heirs.

Gives & bequeaths to his said daughter Martha Maskelyne his leasehold messuage or dwelling house, garden, close and premises in Wootton Bassett situated near Brinkworth Common.

Gives & bequeaths £150 to his said daughter Martha Maskelyne, to be paid to her when she reaches the age of twenty-one years.

If his daughter Martha Maskelyne should die before reaching the age of twenty-one, then he gives and bequeaths the same freehold & leasehold premises as well as the £150 to his son Thomas Maskelyne and his heirs.

Gives & bequeaths to his daughter Ann Maskelyne a share of his stock on Harris Croft Farm at the time his daughter Martha Maskelyne reaches the age of twenty-one years and not before, given that said daughter Ann has behaved undutifully toward him.

Gives & bequeaths to his son Thomas Maskelyne and his heirs after the death of his mother the two freehold tenements or dwelling houses, gardens & premises in Wootton Bassett. He also gives to his son Thomas Maskelyne £300.

All the rest and remainder of his personal estate and effects he gives & bequeaths to his sister Anne Mundee, widow, and to his nephew John Mundee, in Trust, for them to use and occupy and improve for the use and benefit of his said son until he arrives at the age of twenty-one years.

Nominates and appoints his said sister Ann Mundee and nephew John Mundee co-executors of his last will and testament.
