In 1911 Elizabeth Charlotte Browning, aged 31, born in Redhill Surrey (no children) and husband of 2½ years Archie Henry Browning, aged 30, born in Frome Somerset, printing (compositor), were living at 72 Broadway, Frome, Somerset.

In the 1939 Register Archie Henry Browning (b. 9 Jun 1881), compositor newspaper maker up, and wife Elizabeth C Browning (b. 2 Sep 1879), unpaid domestic duties, were living at 67 Broadway, Frome, Somerset.

THE LATE MRS. A. H. BROWNING

The funeral took place on Friday of Mrs. Elizabeth Charlotte Browning, of "Marlborough," 67, Broadway, whose death occurred suddenly on the previous Sunday. Mrs. Browning was the wife of Mr. Archie H. Browning. She was the only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Quiddington, of Reigate and Redhill, Surrey, and had lived in Frome for over 30 years. She was actively associated with the Sheppard's Barton Baptist Church, where her husband was at one time Church treasurer. She also did a good deal at one time, in association with her husband, for the local Liberal Party.

On Friday the interment at the Vallis Road Cemetery was preceded by a service in the Sheppard's Barton Baptist Church. The Minister (the Rev. T. A. Bampton) officiated and the hymn, "Lead, kindly Light" was sung, Mr. W. J. Ayres being at the organ.

The principal mourners included : Mr. A. H. Browning (husband), Miss Florence Browning (sister-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Quiddington (cousins), London, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Browning (brother-in-law and sister-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Dyer (brother-in-law and sister-in-law), Mrs. O. C. Browning (sister-in-law), Mr. Whittaker (cousin), Mrs. T. Rouse (niece), Nurse Kelly, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Pye (friends), London, Mrs. W. S. Fenn (friend).

Mr. O. C. Browning (brother-in-law) was unable to be present owing to illness....
