An inventory of all the goods, chattels & debts of Edmond Maskelyne late of Donington within the parish of Wootton Bassett in the County of Wiltes, gent., deceased, was taken & appraised on 23 Jul 1668 by John Brinsden, William Dyer, Richard Haggard, and Francis Cripps, to the value of £81 06s. 04d.

Gives & devises to his son Giles Maskelyne his leasehold estate of fourscore & nineteen years in Donington to commence immediately after the death of Mary his now wife.
Item. His will is that his said son Giles when he reaches the age of twenty-one years shall enter into a bond or obligation to his daughter Katherine Maskelyne of £60, paying her £30 within two years after the death of his now wife Mary.
Item. His will is that his said son Giles when he reaches the age of twenty-one years shall also enter into a bond or obligation to his son Edmond Maskelyne of £60, paying him £30 within three years after the death of his now wife Mary.
Item. His will is that his said son Giles when he reaches the age of twenty-one years shall also enter into a bond or obligation to his son John Maskelyne of £60, paying him £30 within four years after the death of his now wife Mary.
Item. His will is that his said son Giles when he reaches the age of twenty-one years shall enter into one further bond or obligation to his daughter Amy Maskelyne of £40, paying her £20 within five years after the death of his now wife Mary.
Gives full power and authority to Edward Hopkins & John Brinsden both of Wootton Bassett, gents, to sell his said leasehold estate and to equally divide the money between his sons and daughters.
Item. Wills that his daughter Katherine shall be maintained out of his estate in Donington.
Item. All the rest of his goods and chattels he gives, bequeaths & devises to his wife Mary whom he makes sole executrix of his last will and testament.
