"In memory of Henry Penneck, M.D., of this town, son of the Reverend John Penneck, M.A. vicar of Saint Paul, Cornwall, rector of Cheriton Fitzpaine, Devon, who died 31st March, 1834; aged 73 Years.
And of Sarah his wife, daughter of Thomas Pidwell, Esq., who died 27th October, 1832; aged 74 years.
This monument is erected by desire of their son, the Reverend Henry Penneck, M.A., of Saint Peter's College, Cambridge, who died at Penzance 24th April, 1862; aged 61 Years." 3

Abstract of the Will of Henry Penneck of Penzance in the County of Cornwall, Esquire, written 17 Mar 1834, proved 25 Jun 1834. 5
Gives his estate and interest in a tenement in Trenowth in the parish of Gwinear in co. Cornwall to his two friends Henry Clutterbuck of New Bridge Street in the City of London, and James Philip Keigwin of Wadham College Oxford and of Illogan in Cornwall, in trust, for his daughter Sarah Pearce to receive the rents of the said tenement.
Gives to his said trustees one quarter part of the rent of his estate of Parkwartha in the town of Penzance, for the same purpose, and during the lifetime of his sister Frances Penneck.
Gives the other three quarters of his interest in the estate of Parkwartha to his son Henry Penneck after the death of the the said Frances Penneck.
All the rest of his goods, chattels and credits he gives to his son Henry Penneck, appointing him sole executor of his last will.
