In February 1768 Anne Veale was witness to the marriage of her sister Margaret Veale to Richard Hichens in Madron.

In 1782 Anne the wife of Henry Jenkins, Esqr., was a beneficiary of her mother's will.

Abstract of the Will of Anne Jenkins of the Town of Penzance in the County of Cornwall, Widow, written 17 Dec 1800, proved 28 Apr 1801. 2

To be buried in the grave of her late husband in the parish church of Gulval in co. Cornwall.

Gives to her friends William Lane of the parish of St. George the Martyr in co. Middlesex, Henry Jenkinson Sayer of the same parish, and Richard Hickens (i.e. Hichens) of Poltaee? in co. Cornwall, Esquires, her freehold messuages, lands, tenements & hereditaments in Cornwall, in trust, to pay the rents and profits thereof to her daughter Frances the wife of Edward Pogson Esquire, Lieutenant in his Majesty's 1st Regiment of Somerset Militia. If her daughter Frances dies without issue, then the testatrix wills the same to her sister Margaret Hickens the wife of Richard Hickens.

Gives to her said trustees her investments in public stocks and funds, paying the interest &c. to her daughter Frances Pogson.

Gives £50 to her friend the said William Lane, in testimony of her regard for him.

Gives £100 to her sister Lydia the wife of Cuthbert Baines, Esquire.

Gives £100 to her sister Margaret Hickens.

Gives her gold watch and large bible to her granddaughter Frances Ann Pogson. Also gives to her said granddaughter her large china bowl, and after her death, she gives the same to William Veale of Trevayler, requesting that the china bowl be handed down as an heirloom in the family and name of Veale.

Directs that her son-in-law, Edward Pogson, be deemed a trustee and guardian of his children during their minority.

Appoints her trustees co-executors of her last will and testament.

In a codicil dated 4 Mar 1801 the testatrix removed Henry Jenkinson Sayer of St. George the Martyr in co. Middlesex as one of the trustees of her will, nominating instead Thomas Pascoe of Lariggan in co. Cornwall.
