Abstract of the Will of William Tremenheere of the Town of Penzance in the County of Cornwall, Gentleman, written 21 Nov 1744, proved 7 Mar 1744/5. 3
Gives £15 to his wife Mary to buy her mourning. He also gives her the house they now live in, and the use of all the household goods & furniture.
Gives £250 each to his four younger children: Mary, Lydia, John and Walter, to be paid to each as they turn twenty-one. In the meantime he gives them each an annuity of £10 for maintenance, and £5 each for mourning.
All the rest of his goods, chattels, credits and effects he gives to William his eldest son, appointing him sole executor of his last will and testament.
For the payment of his debts and legacies, he nominates Henry Hichens and Mr. Edward Langford, both of Penzance, together with his wife Mary, to be supervisors, guardians and trustees of his eldest son William during his minority.
