  Research Notes:

In 1841 Mary Hosking, aged about 50, and husband Thomas Hosking, aged about 50, ag lab, both born in the county, were living in Ventonleague, Phillack. With them were children Thomas (20), labourer, James (18), labourer, June (15), Mary (12), Benjamin (8), ag lab.

In 1851 Mary Hosken, aged 67, born in Phillack, and husband Thomas Hosken, aged 66, born in Phillack, coal porter, were living in Churchtown, Phillack. With them were children (born in Phillack) Jane (25) and Benjaman (21), coal porter.

In 1861 Mary Hoskin, aged 78, born in Gwithian, and husband Thomas Hoskin, aged 77, born in Illogan, general labourer, were boarding with Zacharias and Elizabeth Chinn in Undercliff, Phillack.

In 1871 Mary Hosking, aged 84, born in Gwithian, widow, domestic assistant, was with her daughter Elizabeth Chinn and her husband Zacherias Chinn in Clifton Terrace, Phillack.
