In 1731 John Davey was a beneficiary of his father's will, receiving a half-share of his estate in Camborne Church Town. In 1734 John Davy was named as a beneficiary in the will of his uncle Joseph Harris of Camborne, to receive £5. In 1772 John Davey was left an annuity of £5 in the will of his brother Joseph Davey of Camborne.
