In 1841, Charity Bowden (50) and husband Cuthbert Bowden (60), joiner, were living in Praze, Crowan. Present was [grandson] John Stephens (5).

In 1851, Charity Bawden (62) of Crowan and husband Cuthbert Bawden (70) of Crowan, cabinet maker, were living in Praze, Crowan. Present was grandson John Stephens (16) of Crowan, carpenter's apprentice

In 1861, Charity Bowden (72) of Crowan and husband Cuthbert Bowden (80) of Crowan, retired carpenter, were living in Praze, Crowan.
