In 1816 Peter Moyle was a beneficiary of the will of his father-in-law Samuel Hill of Wendron.
In 1826 Peter Moyle was nominated with his son Samuel Hill Moyle as guardians and trustees of the grandchildren of Peter's brother William Moyle during their minority. William also gave to Peter an annuity of £10 and his two best suits of clothes.
In 1841 Peter Moyle, aged about 65, farmer, and wife Tamsone Moyle, aged about 60, were living in Bodilly, Wendron, Cornwall. With them was son John (15).

Gives to his wife Thomasine his leasehold tenement in Prospidnick in the parish of Sithney, currently occupied by his son John. Also gives her the use of his household goods, furniture, bedding and linen, along with an annuity of £10, to be paid out of the leasehold property in Bodilly.
Gives £10 to his grandson John Moyle, son of his son John.
Gives to his son Peter the dwelling house and its garden which is part of Bodilly.
Following the death of his wife he gives to his children Mary, John, Peter, William and James, an annuity of £2, payable out of the said leasehold premises in Bodilly.
Gives to his son Samuel Hill Moyle his leasehold farm, mills & premises in Bodilly in the parish of Wendron.
All the rest of his goods, chattels &c. he gives to his children Samuel, Mary, John, Peter, William and James, share and share alike as tenants in common.
Appoints his son Samuel Hill Moyle sole executor of his last will and testament.
