Ralph Clemence, aged 31 years, now residing in Phillack.
Born in Gwithian where he lived with his parents until he was 8 years old; moved with his parents to Sithney; at 21 years he moved with his parents to Phillack; hired himself as a servant to Reverend W Hocking for three quarters of a year for an annual wage of £7; worked as a labourer for various people; 1 year ago he hired himself as a labourer for the Cornish Copper Company; 2 years ago he married Blanch Gundry in St Ives.
