The contracting parties were Miss Mary Laity Prideaux, second daughter of Mr. John Prideaux, and Mr. Richard John Gundry (of Mexico), eldest son of Capt. John Gundry, Sta. Gertrude's Mine, Pachuca. The Rev. W. Slack officiated....
The bridesmaids were:—The Misses A. Prideaux, Annie R. Trevithick, C. Webster, and Mary R. Trebilcock.... Mr. Thomas Gundry (Praze) acted as best man. Others present were Mrs. W. J. Jenkin (sister of the bride), Mrs. Webster (aunt of the bridegroom), the Misses S. and C. Rule, Mr. Thomas Pryor (Newquay), Mr. G. Prideaux (Praze), Mr. Charles Webster, Mr. Mark Trebilcock, Mr. James Henry Trebilcock, and Mr. W. H. Mitchell....
Mr. and Mrs. Gundry, in the course of a few weeks, will be leaving for Mexico." 4
