Sole executor Charles Andrew Reynolds, his son.

Bequests:

- to friends John Williams junior, esquire, of Burncoose, Gwennap and William Paul Williams, merchant of Penryn: freehold and copyhold estates. Also mansion house of Trevenson and premises in trust for son Charles for life.

- Contents of Trevenson to daughter Frances and son Charles in equal moieties. They are to live at Trevenson. If Frances marries, Charles to pay her annuity of £50 charged on testator's lands of Camborne Vean.

- Also to John Williams and William Paul Williams: £4000 on trust for child or children of daughter Elizabeth Price, wife of George Aunger Price. Also £4000 in trust for William Ferris Reynolds and Elizabeth Reynolds, children of testator's deceased son William Tellam Reynolds, to be equally divided between them. Also £9000 on trusts: £4500 on trust for benefit of testator's daughter Charlotte, wife of Edward Lanyon of Camborne, surgeon, during Charlotte's life (trust to her separate use) and £4500 to daughter Frances (with trusts to her separate use).

- to sisters Elizabeth Balton of Nancekuke and Elizabeth West of Illogan: £20 each.

- to niece Mary Ann Reynolds, £200.

- one year's wages to every servant in testator's service at time of death. In addition to this, £20 to servant William Secombe.

- to Elizabeth, widow of late son William Tellam Reynolds, annuity of £40.

- to son James George Reynolds, annuity of £150.

- to sister Catherine West, annuity of £12.

Annuities charged on freehold estate of Argal in Budock and on leasehold tenements of Nancekuke in Illogan.

-to John Williams and W P Williams:

a) Burnithon and Carnkye in Illogan and leasehold tenement, part of Penhellick Vean and leasehold house in Tregajorran, Illogan where daughter Elizabeth Price lived. To be held in trust for Elizabeth Price.

b) leasehold house in Tregajorran occupied by William Harris. To be held in trust for daughter Frances.

c) leasehold house in Camborne, occupied by Elizabeth Reynolds, testator's daughter in law, and leasehold house adjoining this, occupied by Hannah Tippet, widow, and ? Shakerleg. To be held in trust for daughter Frances for life, then in trust for William Paul Ferris.

- to son Charles Andrew Reynolds: all leasehold estates and furniture, books, plate, linen, china, wines and spirits, all farm stock, horses, carriages, etc and all personal estates.

- to John Williams and W P Williams: freehold and copyhold customary and Duchy lands, to use of son Charles Andrew Reynolds for life. After his death, to his son(s). If he has no sons, to grandson William Ferris Reynolds and his son(s). If William Reynolds has no sons, to use of grandson Samuel Vincent Price, son of daughter Elizabeth Price. Life tenancies after this, to use of John Williams and William P Williams to preserve contingent remainders.

Codicils.

1) £100 to each of grandchildren. £50 to friend Mr Richard Lanyon. £50 to Miss Grace Richards of Illogan. £10 to hind Thomas Minard. Witnessed by Jane Luke (testator's servant) and Charles Barham, physician, of Truro. Added 24 March 1842.

2) Revoked bequest of £4000 to children of William Tellam Reynolds, deceased, in consequence of death of Elizabeth Reynolds, his wife.

To grandson William Ferris Reynolds (son of William T Reynolds), £3000.

To Elizabeth Reynolds, W T Reynolds' widow, £300 in addition to £40 already given to her during widowhood.

£10 to each female servant living with testator at his death in addition to one year's wages. To old servant Thomas Harris, £15. To sister Ann Jeffery, £30 yearly. To sister Mary Philips, £16 yearly. To brother George Reynolds £16 yearly.

  Marriage Information:

William married Philippa Tellam, daughter of William Tellam and Jane Arthur, on 11 Feb 1793 in Illogan, Cornwall. (Philippa Tellam was christened 17 Apr 1775 in Illogan, Cornwall and was buried on 1 Dec 1827 in Illogan, Cornwall, aged 53 years.)
